WELCOME

Follow along as my friends and I "search" for love and happiness! I have many girlfriends spread across the country who also have friends who may have an interesting story for me to share. No worries friends and our "boos" your names are safe... I won't tell, if YOU don't tell. Look at each post not to see if you know who I am talking 'bout but instead to grow and help us grow as the wonderful women we are.

Don't ask me who I'm talkin' 'bout, 'cause I ain't tellin'! LOL

But don't forget to add your 2 cents.... I like to hear others opinions even if I dont agree.... but hey maybe you do agree....

God's Timing Put Me in FORMATION

As my time as Lady Raider was coming to end, I found myself looking for my next "thing". I always wanted to coach high school cheerleading. That was going to be my "next thing."  That spring I started applying to available coaching positions for dance team and cheerleading coach positions. On paper, my background isn't too bad: high school cheerleading, a year of college cheering, and 6 years as a semi-professional cheerleader (5 as a captain). All of which has led me to have a few good connects. But I just couldn't get a position. I even interviewed at one school twice for 2 different positions. I kept patient and didn't stress it.

Eventually, I figured the ship had sailed for this year...

Then an opportunity came for me to coach cheerleaders at my school on a volunteer basis. I was basically volunteered for the position. Originally, I was skeptical and wanted to say no thanks. I had done elementary school cheerleading for my previous school and did not get a lot of support from parents and spent 2 hours babysitting one day a week. But I went ahead and committed and started the process.

As I started the process of creating documents to send home, for parents to complete and my team to be selected, I got another call. This call was for a paying a position with the same age group.

I currently have not one team but TWO where I can pretty much take the programs in any direction I want. I can do as much as I want or as little as I want with parent support. Can you say.... FLEXIBILITY...  I have been able to organize and complete quite a bit in about 6 months. Can't wait to see where these programs go!
